I have been an educator in some way since I was a teenager. Whether it was tutoring, advising high school students on the college access process, or being an instructor at both the K-12 and higher education levels, learning and development have been a central part of my life.

I trained to be an instructional designer and performance improvement specialist through Purdue University's Learning Design and Technology masters program to better support all learners and meet organizational goals. 

I love the ability to coach and train, lead teams, design instruction, and affect policy. I design learning experiences from a holistic point of view.  You can explore my work samples here. 

When I am not working in the learning and development field, I am a family oriented person and enjoy spending time with them, my friends, dancing, traveling, and simply just enjoying life. 

My personal and professional worlds intertwine as I love to always be learning and my closest connections are also lifelong educators and advocates for change. Social justice, diversity, equity and inclusion are all important values to me. 

I currently volunteer in support of Elon University's ELHAN (Elon Latinx/Hispanic Alumni Network) as the Board President. I love to support and guide fellow Latinx students and enjoy getting to support my undergraduate alma mater by serving current students and alumni.
